Melinda Rogers is the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development for Rogers Communications. Her primary responsibilities are leading and managing the company wide strategic planning, monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, industry trends and best practices, developing growth strategies related to various business, competitive and industry conditions, evaluating investment opportunities within the strategic direction of RCI; and managing strategic partnerships across the group of companies.
She focuses on exciting technological ideas and high-potential companies that use IP technologies or new application of IP technology to create true new lines of business on a global scale. This is a daunting task but a necessary one as Canada’s innovation ecosystem grow at an exponential rate.

Melinda is a valued member of the Board of Directors for Rogers Communications, The Governing Council – University of Toronto and iBAHN Corporation. She is also Chairman of the Jays Care Foundation and a member of the Campaign Cabinet for the Rotman School of Management $200 Million campaign.
